There’s something really exciting happening in the Irish music scene right now.

These performers will get the chance to open for the festivals headliner Cathy Davey. I’m sure that would be a nice way to start your music career; and guess what guys, it’s not too late to enter.

Singer/Song-writer Cathey Davey has been on the festival scene for quite some time now. The ‘Moving’ singer gained quick fame and critical success with a Choice Music Prize Nomination when armed with only her second album in 2007. The success of ‘Tales of Silversleeve’ then led to her Meteor Award for best Irish Female in 2008.

The Youth Rocks Arts Festival is an eclectic mix of music, arts, theatre and fashion to name but a few treats. The Festival is affiliated with N.A.P.S (The National Assosication for Parent Support) The Charity offers help to parents of children with special needs and learning difficulties and gives them a better shot at leading a normal life. Over 60% of the profits from the competition and the festival goes to N.A.P.S.
